 The Clarkson family lived in the country near Cambridge. They had a big, old house with a beautiful garden, a lot of flowers and many old trees.
 Molly lived with her daughter, Jackie. One day, the day was Molly's fifty years old  birthday, so family and a husband of Molly's sister gathered. Molly's sister was very ill, so her husband, Albert  wanted money to hire a nurse twenty-four hours a day. Jackie's sister, Diane wanted money to go to America. Diane's brother, Roger wanted money to build ten houses in this garden with his friend. Everyone needed the same thing. They all needed Molly's money. She would not give them the money. So they were waiting for her to die. But one person couldn't wait. So on her fiftieth birthday, she was killed by someone... Who was a killer?



 I recommend this book because I like mystery. When you read it, you can feel as if you are a detective! If you are interested in it, please read it.

Today, I read Roman Adventure. Biff and Chip were doing a project on the Romans.Then the magic key began to glow and took them on a new adventure. They met a girl and her brother, a chariot driver. They saw a real chariot. They were hungry, so went to her house. Her father is a baker, but the bread was flat and didn't look like bread the day. So they make them into Pizzas. Then they sold the Pizzas at the chariot race. At first, no one bought them, but Pizzas were sold out after her brother put a banner『BUY A PIZZA』 on his chariot at the race. After that the Emperor ate and liked it.

This book includes some short stories. First, these stories don't connect, but finally the stories condense into one. The key word of this book are the fire and letters. I think this style of book is interesting, but it's difficult to read and explain to someone. There are many main characters, so that makes this book more difficult. I want you to read this book.
