Do you know The Enormous Turnip? This story is a very famous story. One old man planted a seed of turnip. And it grew a very big turnip. some people together pulled out it. Then they cut it and ate it together.

Today, I read HENRY AND MUDGE written by Cynthia and illustrated by Sucie Stevenson. In this first book in the series, Henry was allowed to have a dog and found Mudge. The dog grew up and stood three feet tall. One day the dog took a walk alone and got a lost. The boy cried, but he soon go find his dog. After that, the dog never went for a walk without a boy. And he never worried  his dog would leave.

On Sunday, I went to my grandmother's house with my father. I hadn't seen her since my spring vacation. I was glad to see her. We ate lunch she made and watch TV. We had a good time. I want to go and see her again.

Today, I read SHReK THE THiRD. Frog king is dying, but his son Shrek doesn't want to be the new king. So he goes to find Arthur, the King's heir. But Prince Charming wants to be the new king and try to kill Shrek in his show. Then, Arthur stops the show and be a new king. And Shrek is going to be a great father.

The other day, I read The Ugly Duckling. There were some duckling. In them, one duckling was different from them. The duckling was always being left out. As he grow, he found that he was actually swan.

Last Friday, I hold a takoyaki-party with my friends. We bought many food for it. We ate a lot of takoyaki while listening to the music. We had a good time. I want to do again.

Today, I read The Smallest Cow in the World, written by Katherine Paterson. Family was running a farm. There were ninety-seven cows there. Rosie, one of them, were dump, so everyone did not like her except Marvin. But they had to sell farm and Roise went away. I went to city with my friend. After we ate lunch, we went to our high school in a long time. we met some teachers and talked with them. We had a good time. Today, sport festival are held in our high school. I wanted to go and see there.

The other day, I read The Missing Shoes Part 1.  One girl and her mother went to shopping mall and many interesting things were held there. While her mother went to a face painting, the girl went another booth and take off her shoes. Then she played with her friends. After that, she found that her shoes  disappeared . Where her shoes went to?

Today, I read Lost at Sea, written by Rob Waring and Maurice Jamall. In this story, five people left for island in their boat. In the middle of the way, some of them swam in water. Suddenly a storm came and they reached a strange island. They spent overnight and next day, the police helicopter came and find them.

During golden week, I went to Yamaga city with my mother. First, We went to footbath. That is very good. Second, We went to Yatiyoza. I learned its history. Finally, we ate apple pies. Those were very delicious!

Snap was the boss of Blossom street. He was loved by many people and he loves them, too. However, his owners moved away and he had to leave there with them. To look after the street, he jamped on the bus alone and traveled to Blossom Street and spent time there every day when owners left for work.

Today, I read The Rainbow Machine, written by Roderik Hunt and illustrated by Alex Brychta. This story is that some children go to rainbow makers and make various strange rainbows.This is a very fantasy story!

Today, I read The Owl and the Pussycat,written by Edward Lear.　The Owl and the Pussycat were traveling in a beautiful pea-green boat. They loved each other and wanted to marry. When they reached the land where the Bong-tree grows, they got a ring from a pig. Then they married and lived happily.

Today, I read The Tree Little Pigs. This is a very famous story. Three pigs went  away from their mother and built their own houses. The houses of two pigs were broken by wolf. But the house made by third pig were not broken. Also the pig finally knocked down the wolf.
