They had a big, old house with a beautiful garden, a lot of flowers and many old trees.  Molly lived with her daughter, Jackie. One day, the day was Molly's fifty years old  birthday, so family and a husband of Molly's sister gathered. "I need to find an old friend," he replied. (p. 10)  One April evening, Nat Marley, a New York private investigator went for a beer after work in McFadden's Bar on second Avenue. A lot of people were in there and he sat one table with his drink and started to read the Daily News. Then a guy walked over to his table and asked, "Can I sit here?" His name was Jorge Delgado and he had dark hair and a friendly face. They drank together. Jorge said, "Doesn't that look beautiful after ten years without a beer?" Nat replied, "You didn't have a beer for ten years. Where were you? Saudi Arabia?" He waited a minute before speaking. "Someplace where you have a lot of time to think," he replied. "Someplace where you don't want to be. A cold, gray world. A world where you can shout, but no one hears. you can talk, but no one listens."  I recommend this book because I like the stories in this series. Cambridge

"Magpies like shiny things," said Biff. (p. 24)  This is a story of children. One day Chip was watching television. He had a key which could take children into magic adventures. He put it on the arm of the chair. His friend Nadim came to play. He wanted a magic adventure and looked for the key, but couldn't. Then they looked in the armchair. They found the key and many other things, like Mum's missing ear-ring. The key was stuck to a toffee, so they cleaned it. And Chip gave his mum an ear-ring. After that the children went into Biff's room. Suddenly, the key began to glow and took them into a new adventure!  They found that they were in a wood. The wood was dark and gloomy. Then Biff saw something shiny. It was a ring. What will happen on them? Please guess.  I like magic key series' books, so I recommend this book to you. If you like this series, please read it.
