BR 29: Arman's journey

'You must do what you want.' (p.32)

「Arman's journey」の画像検索結果The main character is Arman. He was 17 years old and lived in a small town with his mother.  One day, when he was in school, the soldiers came to his school. A taller soldier said, 'Today's a very good day for you! You're coming with us. You're going to be soldiers.' He didn't want to be a soldier, so he escaped from them and went home. He told his mother about that and she gave him some money and told him to leave his country. Then his journey began. What will happen on him?

I like this book because this story is happy end. Also, this story is short and written easy words. You can read this book easily. If you don't have enough time to read long story, please try it.

  2. There are some rules which boys have to be soldiers, for example in Korea they have to leave home and work for their country. We don't have these kind of custom in Japan, so I can't understand the situation exactly, but I can say we have to follow the environment even if we can't accept it.
