  Liz was an archaeologist. She studied and taught archaeology at the university in Athens. She worked very hard, so needed to take a rest. Her boss, a professor of archaeology, Stavros told her to go to Poulati on Sifnos. When she arrived there, she met three men on a very big boat. One of them was friendly, but the others were not  and shouted her to go away. She disliked them. After that she met Stavros' friends and they were very kind, so she enjoyed her life there. Once there are Gold mines on Sifnos and people could find and take Gold, but it was said that there was no Gold mine now. However, one friend told her that he knew the site which had Gold mine. So they planned to go there next day, But unexpected accident happened on them...


  In this story, Liz is main character, but three men she met by the sea played an important roll. What happened on them? Let's guess next action during your reading!

    I read this book, too! Therefore, I could share some ideas about this book with you at the class! Well, I think this book is interesting because we can't know which character is enemy or not.

Today, I read Roman Adventure. Biff and Chip were doing a project on the Romans.Then the magic key began to glow and took them on a new adventure. They met a girl and her brother, a chariot driver. They saw a real chariot. They were hungry, so went to her house. Her father is a baker, but the bread was flat and didn't look like bread the day. So they make them into Pizzas. Then they sold the Pizzas at the chariot race. At first, no one bought them, but Pizzas were sold out after her brother put a banner『BUY A PIZZA』 on his chariot at the race. After that the Emperor ate and liked it.

This book includes some short stories. First, these stories don't connect, but finally the stories condense into one. The key word of this book are the fire and letters.
